Review Summary:

With the Vax Energize Vibe, you have an affordable vacuum that can work well for smaller homes. It delivers quality cleaning for hard floors, but some users may find the carpet cleaning to be less than satisfying. That said, it is an inexpensive vacuum that is easy to use and it is hard to find fault it if it does not have cleaning capabilities that compare with models that are considerably more expensive.

The Vax Energize Vibe C86-E2-Be is a compact cylinder vacuum that does a nice job for cleaning smaller areas. It is a bagless vacuum with a range of cleaning tools that can help the user with cleaning from the floor to the ceiling, and it is one of the more efficient cylinder models with an energy rating of B.

The Energize Vibe from Vax provides respectable cleaning abilities, but it does not compare well with some of the more expensive models. It has good suction and a combination head for cleaning hard floors and carpets. For hard floors, this model does a great job, but on carpets, it does not perform quite as well. It does get the carpets looking clean, but it has trouble getting deep into heavier carpeting.

For convenience and ease of use, the C86-E2-Be does well. It is lightweight and easy to operate. It has a dust capacity of a little more than 2L, which is pretty good for a compact model and it is bagless, so you will not have to worry about buying and replacing bags. If there is anything to fault in regard to the ease of use, it is the cord length. At 5m, users will find that the working radius is a little small.

The versatility of this model is about what you would expect from a vacuum in this price range. It can clean on hard floors and carpets, and it does have all of the basic tools for cleaning above the floor. Along with the standard floor cleaning head, you have a crevice tool, an upholstery tool and a dusting brush. Nothing fancy, but it should be enough to clean the average home.

When it comes to handling this unit, it is not the best and it is not the worst. The lightweight makes it easy to carry around if you need to move it from one place to the next and it has wheels that allow it to follow the user as they clean. Once you are done, you can easily remove the dust container for emptying and it has an automatic cord rewind for cord storage.

As an additional point that makes this vacuum good for home cleaning, it does have HEPA filtration. If you are an allergy sufferer or if one lives in your home, this vacuum will remove most of the harmful and irritating particles from the air that passes through the system.
