Review Summary:

Take the hardship out of household chores with the Roomba iRobot. The Roomba will clean laminate, hardwood, linoleum, tiles and carpets. The Roomba has Infra Red sensors which allow it to negotiate around obstacles and make 60 decisions per minute about your room. The Infra Red data is processed by an intelligent on board central processor which will not be upset by sudden changes or whether you rearrange your room. The infra red sensors are also programmable so the Roomba stays where you want it to rather than straying into another room or falling downstairs.

The iRobot Roomba features Adaptive Responsive Cleaning Technology. The Roomba has a variety of brushing techniques including side brushes which clean right up to the wall with a dustpan and brush motion. It has counter rotating brushes which will lift 98% of dirt from your carpet. It will pass over one area a few times mimicking your vacuuming technique in order to pick up the maximum dirt and dust. The dust is then sucked into the bin. The main brushes beat and sweep effectively removing pet hair and other debris. The Roomba has innovative optical and audio sensors allowing it to detect and sweep up a variety of debris including stubborn pet hair. The Roomba also has intelligent sensors to pick up the dirtiest parts of your rooms and will stay in these spots longer ensuring a thorough clean.
