Review Summary:

If you want a cordless cleaner that provides results that are comparable to a standard upright, the Bosch Athlet BCH625KTGB is a good choice. It provides high quality results on all surfaces and it has a strong enough battery to get all of your cleaning done without having to worry about recharging. Along with that, this model is lightweight and compact, while also being durable and reliable.

With the Bosch Athlet BCH625KTGB, you have one of the few cordless vacuums that could actually replace your corded upright. It provides cleaning that is on par with many of the top upright cleaners, it works well for a number of jobs, and it has good battery performance with a charge that can last for up to a full hour.

For its cleaning capabilities, this is one of the better cordless models. It delivers strong suction for cleaning on all surfaces, so the user can work on hard floors and carpets. Additionally, it has a motorised brush head for helping the machine to get deeper into the carpets. It even does a pretty good job of getting pet hair, but the lack of a turbo tool means that you can find better models for homes with pets.

Handling the BCH625KTGB from Bosch is about as easy as can be. The machine is very light and the head pivots for high manoeuvrability. The handle is also well designed and it fits comfortably in the hand. Users should not have a hard time carrying this vacuum around and its lightweight, compact constructions make it particularly easy to store.

As another nice point, you can take the head off this model and replace it with a tube for using it as a portable vacuum. However, it does come up short in this regard in comparison to some other cordless models. Many of the other models are 2-in-1, with a handheld that can detach from the unit. With this one, you remove the head, attach a hose and then it comes with a shoulder strap. It works well in the portable mode and the conversion is easy, but a detachable handheld would be a little more convenient.

The Bosch Athlet cordless vacuum has good battery performance in comparison with many of the competing models. The user can get a full charge in about six hours and it offers a maximum operating time of sixty minutes. However, if you use the turbo mode a lot, you are not going to get the full hour of use out of the battery.

This model is also very easy to maintain and care for. It is a bagless model with a 1.9L capacity. That is a little low when you compare it to many of the corded upright models, but for a cordless, it is pretty good. Further, it is very easy to remove the canister for emptying and it has a washable filter that is good for the life of the machine. If you live in a small to medium sized home, this could be the only vacuum that you will need, and you cannot say that about many of the competing cordless cleaners.
